A custom painted Thoroughbred for a client who loves the Warhol flower prints. A very rough photoshop sketch and some samples got us underway. Because I was looking to recreate the feel of the print, the final black layer of paint was applied with a tape masking. I researched the pigments--no surprise, Andy just used basic screen printing inks. The end result is eye-popping.
